Cheapest Galaxy 7 Provides Success over Samsung Galaxy 6

Samsung’s two models Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S7 are talk of the town. Both the models are liked by the users and are selling like hot cake across the globe. However, Cheapest Galaxy S7 looks like a shining star. The company has seen the first month sales of Galaxy S7 of about 9 million devices as compared to estimated 7 million devices. This led to an anticipated jump in operating profit of around $5.7 billion which is about 10% higher over the last year.

Cheaper Galaxy S7 over Galaxy S6

Samsung’s S7 release date, high features, and cheap price are some of the reasons for the success of the phone. Management of the company believes that today the ‘WoW’ features are not the ones that attract the customers but the phone which is launched first is the winner. Hence, S7 was released before S6 and is successful. The company also successfully introduced the annual phone upgrade which allowed the users to be loyal with the company as they can now update their phones. Analysts think that this upward trend of S7 would continue and expects Samsung Galaxy S7 would be the world’s best-selling Android phone in 2016.

Samsung Galaxy S7 vs Samsung Galaxy S6

Another reason for Galaxy S7 to bring profits to the company is its low manufacturing cost compared to Best Buy Galaxy S6. The S7 models are about 8% cheaper to manufacture then the S6 models. As per the various market analysts; it costs about $275 to build a single unit of S6 device whereas the cost of S6 devices comes out to be $255 per device.

S6 uses Exynos chipset device whereas S7 uses the latest Snapdragon processor. In order to ensure some cost management S6 uses camera sensor hardware from different vendors; whereas S7 limits the options to in-house camera sensor; ISOCELL and Sony IMX 260.
