T-Mobile; a wireless carrier recently rolled out updated version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow to some of their models which were released in 2015. Out of these, Samsung Galaxy 6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge fall in the portfolio. The users of Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge can now use the Marshmallow updates and enjoy the benefits.
The updated version is known as Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and has a size of about 1.3GB for both S6 and S6 Edge. The new Marshmallow version comes with additional features and improvements. Some of the features include; Doze mode, Now on Tap, app permissions and similar other user friendly features.
The new app would be able to judge the user habits and would enhance the experience of the user. The newer version would consider the internal memory and SD card memory as same thus saving lots of space on the device.
As T-Mobile has recently launched this new version; it might take some time for users to see them automatically on their devices. However, one can check their settings information on their phone and get the updated version. The Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow version would make the device more efficient and would definitely be more user friendly.
T-Mobile also has plans to roll out this new Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow version to Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and LG V10 in the upcoming months.
