With the rumored February 2016 announcement of the new flagship smartphone from Samsung, several leaks have also started pouring in. The latest, however, from a surprising source that cannot be overlooked.
According to a South Korean report, an employee of Samsung has passed on this information. It claims that the Samsung Galaxy S7 could have a black chassis for an added premium feel, and also that the camera focus shall be on the ability to shoot good shots even in low-light conditions.
It has also surfaced that the Samsung Galaxy S7 is likely to feature a 12MP rear camera having f/1.7 aperture so that images look fresh and light. Best Buy Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus Deals are available at our Online Galaxy Phone Store UK.
Whilst Samsung Galaxy S6 has 16MP rear camera, a higher megapixel count, but the S7 camera has certain lens improvements done like the new sensor, as per leaks.
Other rumors surfacing around the phone unveils that the S7 could be dust –and water-resistant, though the employee hasn’t made anything clear about the IP level. It also has a microSD card slot, though there’s no certainty about whether it is restricted to 128GB.
When color is concerned, leaks reveal that there are four options – black, silver, white and gold. It is the same source that has also pegged on an early March release.
While everything sounds great, there isn’t any way to confirm the source is certainly a Samsung employee, so it’s best to take this news with a pinch of salt. However, everything else about the much anticipated S7 seems to be in alignment with whatever else was heard.
