The success of Samsung’s smartphones, the Galaxy A3, A5 and A7, has led to the development of successors to both the models, which are expected to hit stores sometime in 2016. According to documents from the US FCC (United States Federal Communications Commission), the Galaxy A5’s successor will boasts of a 2900mAh battery, which is a massive improvement from the original’s 2300mAh variant. Other details revealed about the A5 (2016) are the usual connectivity options such as Single-band LTE, Bluetooth and NFC.

The Galaxy A3’s successor too, will have connectivity options similar to the A5 (2016). According to US FCC documents, there are going to be two variants of the A3 that are going to be released in 2016. One of them is expected to be a dual-SIM model. The images of the to-be-released A5 and A7 models reveal that the metal body carried by the previous versions will remain intact.
