Samsung has lacked the security update in some countries and in others it’s only half way through the month. The monthly updates need to address the security vulnerabilities detected for proper up to date working of the operating system. While using Wi-Fi also you may face problem like warning saying that carriers will not support and may impact the battery.

The update coming up is going to address the “occasional cover recognition issue” fixing the issues rising while using Samsung’s Accessories. There are about 9 Samsung vulnerabilities that are being addressed in the update. The security release for June will include patches from Google. Apart from this, several issues of camera will also get fixed as the preview of specific routes shown in red or green. Another issue that the camera did not open from the lock screen with S view cover attached, has also been addressed in the update. Problem of recorded video not shown in quick view after recording is stopped is also resolved. This update is going to be released for unlocked devices first and then locked devices. It will come in different regions worldwide at different times. UK will be the lucky one to have it at first as they did not receive any update in May.

You can get the update manually by going to Settings>about device>Software Update.
