Samsung Galaxy A5
One of the mid-range smartphones, Samsung Galaxy A5 is packed with various user friendly features. It has a full metal body design like the A3 making a distinction from the traditional plastic frames of the Samsung phones. Galaxy A5 is the latest in the family of mid-range smartphones provided by Samsung. Besides being affordable, it is also very stylish in appearance. Basically a follow up on Samsung Galaxy Alpha, the slick design makes it look more expensive than the phone actually is. Rear of the device is made of smooth plastic and has a subtle pearlescent finish as well, adding to the attraction. The cover cannot be removed but the slick unibody features more than makes up for the deficiency.
Samsung Galaxy A5 comes in attractive design as the designers have concentrated on high end quality features. It has a torch brought in by Galaxy Alpha to a new level that is one of the reasons for its high popularity in the market. Both Galaxy A5 and the iPhone 5S are based on similar features. But the larger screen of Galaxy A5 and its slimmer body makes the device more attractive than iPhone 5S.
Samsung Galaxy A5 has 1.2 GHz Snapdragon quad-core 410 processor, which is fast enough to impress the users. Besides the 13 megapixel main camera that is 5 MP front facing; the phone comes with 16 GB storage and 2GB RAM. With 4G connectivity the phone is faster than most others in the market. The storage can be increased to 64 GB with the addition of the Micro SD card.
The phone comes with speedy 4G connectivity that helps fast Internet connectivity. Add to this the 4 inch HD 720x1080 pixels display, which makes the phone handy. The only downside is that the phone does not have Android 5.1 lollypop connectivity and instead runs on Android 4.4.4 which is slower than the lollypop version.
Samsung Galaxy A5 balances perfectly the features of attractiveness and ease of use. It provides all the facilities to users to hold and operate it one handed, despite its large size screen. The slim feature allows putting it in and out of the pocket comfortably.
Samsung Galaxy A5 camera protrudes outside by around 1.5 mm but it poses no issues. The same was the case with Galaxy S6 earlier and is considered a problem free feature for the users. Samsung Galaxy A5 has a number of soft keys on either side of the home button. The power as well as the volume key is placed at opposite side of the phone. This prevents accidental pressing of either of the keys without looking at them.
On the whole, Samsung Galaxy A5 can be considered to be a design marvel. Despite having large screen, it looks more like the mini Galaxy Note 4 instead of large iPhone 5S. Excellence of performance, ease of use, slick designs, and convenience of display make this phone worth the investment.
